Day 22 - 32.3 miles
Today was a real quick ride. Got up and was on the road while it was still dark. Had to be finished early as we are going to visit my grand daughter in camp. Left the house at 5 am and it was already 81 degrees outside. Luckily today was the time trial day. A short ride.
One day left. A ride of 65 miles. And then what? I will take tomorrow's blog and write down my thoughts of the past 3 weeks. This has truly been an amazing journey.
Happy Birthday to Rene. She has been the best support and wife anyone could ask for. Never could have done it without her.

- I am 64 years old and have been a visionary my whole life. I saw Frank Shorter win the Olympics in 1972, and I said I want to run a marathon. Since then I have run 50. I watched the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii on TV and I said I want to do that. 3 years later I finished the Iron man in Hawaii. I was 45 at the time. I watched all of the Tour de France this year,2009,and I said I want to do that. Unable to compete in the Tour, I will do the same miles they do on the same days in July. Can I do it? The saying goes "Man can achieve what the mind can conceive".
