Today was a scheduled day off. Got up early and did my core strength exercises and quad lifts and some weight lifting. After I looked at my bike and said well maybe just peddle easy for an hour or so. But I said no, my legs need a rest day. Well today at dinner I told my wife I missed the bike today. I don't know about taking a day off in the future!
