I had not run in several weeks but decided that on my off day from cycling I would run easy on the treadmill as well as do my core strength exercises and some quad lifts. Today I ran 3 easy miles. Felt good to get back to my first love, running. It is amazing to me that your heart rate will rise much faster when you run than when you bike. Tomorrow I have a hard workout scheduled for the bike. Miss it already.
